Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondent Nos.1 and 2 to retrieve the temple land in SF.No.355/1 of Karunguzhikadi Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, from the illegal occupation of the seventh respondent and consequently direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to fence the land or permit the petitioner to fence the aforesaid property with the help of the respondent Nos.4 to 6 within the time stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to retrieve the temple land comprised in S.F.No.355/1, situated at Karunguzhikadi Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, from the illegal occupation of the seventh respondent and, consequently, to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 to fence the said land or, in the alternative, to permit the petitioner to fence the aforesaid property with the assistance of respondent Nos.4 to 6, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the private respondent herein has unnecessarily created a dispute by falsely claiming that the land belongs to him and has trespassed into the subject property. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 31.12.2025 seeking appropriate action against the private respondent. However, the said representation has not been considered till date. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
