ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to issue sub-divided online patta to the petitioner in respect of his property comprised in Survey Nos.574/1B, 574/1C, 574/1E, 574/4, 631/7 and 631/9, situated at Veeramachampatti, pursuant to the petitioner's application dated 07.10.2025, by considering the sale deed dated 09.07.1990, registered as Document No.1491 of 1990, and the sale deed dated 04.03.1994, registered as Document No.475 of 1994, on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Thuraiyur.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the lawful owner of the subject properties and continues to be in possession and enjoyment thereof. Though the petitioner submitted application to the respondent seeking to issue subdivision Patta, no action has been taken till date, compelling the petitioner to file the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.10.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
