The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the order passed by the third respondent, wherein, the request of the Petitioner for providing electricity service connection has been rejected on the ground that the construction is located in a Government Poramboke land. 2.On a perusal of the prayer sought for by the Petitioner reveals that the Petitioner seeks electricity service connection to the shop constructed by him in the Government Poramboke land. 3.According to the learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent, in case, if it is a residential property, they will provide service connection after obtaining indemnity bond and undertaking affidavit.

4.The learned counsel for the second respondent has received written instructions to the effect that they got objections to provide service connection to the Writ Petitioner for a commercial building, 5.In view of the above facts, the question of quashing the impugned order passed by the third respondent would not arise in view of the fact that the Petitioner has put up commercial buildin in the Government Poramboke land. The prayer sought for in the Writ petition cannot be granted.
