ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents, particularly, the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.01.2025.
2. Heard both sides. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner, an agriculturalist, obtained an agricultural loan of Rs.20,00,000/- from the third respondent society. He executed a mortgage deed in favour of the third respondent on 17.09.2017. Due to unfavourable agricultural conditions, the petitioner was unable to repay the loan on time. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 23.11.2024, seeking an additional three months to repay the entire loan. Since the representation was not considered, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD)No.28979 of 2024 before this Court. By an order dated 04.12.2024, this Court, without delving into the merits of the case, directed the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with the law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the earlier writ petition, the name of the second respondent was incorrectly mentioned as "SubRegistrar, Nagalnayakanpatti, Dindigul" instead of "The Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Office of the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Nehruji Nagar, Dindigul." Therefore, the petitioner has submitted another representation dated 25.01.2025 and filed the present writ petition, mentioning the name of the second respondent correctly, seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the said representation.
5. This Court, without expressing any opinion on merits of the present writ petition, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.01.2025 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. NCC : Yes / No 04.02.2025 Index : Yes / No smn2
