ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners from the respondents 3 to 5 and their henchmen.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the third respondent is the daughter-in-law of the petitioners; that the third respondent's husband had died in an accident; that before the death of her husband, the third respondent has lodged a complaint against her husband and the petitioners and on that basis, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.859 of 2021. He would further submit that the petitioner's representation is pending before the second respondent.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
