ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2025.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 22.01.2025 to give police protection to provide adequate security to see her father alive and the same has not been considered by them. Therefore, prayed to issue direction to the respondents to consider her representation and to pass orders.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents also admitted that they have received the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.01.2025. Since it is a family dispute pending between the parties, they have to conduct enquiry and after enquiry, they will pass appropriate orders.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, without issuing notice to the second respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose the petition based on the representation of the petitioner.

In view of the representation made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the official respondents and the enquiry is still pending, it is appropriate to direct the second respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.01.2025, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, ordered.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
