ORDER
The petitioner who was working as Principal, has attained qualification as Post Graduate in Science (Chemistry). According to him, he is taking Chemistry classes at the university. Since the petitioner was due to attain superannuation on 31.01.2026, he submitted an application seeking re-employment in the post of principal till the end of the Academic Year. However, the 1st respondent by impugned order dated 14.01.2016 has rejected the request of the petitioner. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition that he has been relieved from service in the middle of the academic year.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the petitioner was relieved from service as he had attained the age of superannuation on 31.01.2026 and that there is no difficulty in taking chemistry classes in the university as arrangements have already been 2/4
made and there are three other staff available in the university for taking chemistry classes.
3. In view of the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader and the orders passed by this court in W.P.(MD)No. 25024 of 2023, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 12.02.2026 ogy Index : Yes / No.
