Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari and Mandamus, calling for the records relating to impugned Seniority list and Seniority Panel of the 2021 for the post of Primary School Headmaster posts of the 4th respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein 1 to 4 herein to re fix the seniority panel on the basis of regularization dated 01.06.2006 and revert the respondents 12 to 16 as secondary grade teachers and promote the petitioners 1 to 4 herein as Primary School Head Masters with effect from the date of vacancy arose as notionally and with all other attended benefits including counting the Primary School Headmaster service for fixation of seniority and fixation of pay. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari and Mandamus, calling for the records relating to impugned Seniority list and Seniority Panel of the 2021 for the post of Primary School Headmaster posts of the 4th respondent herein and quash the same 5/8

and consequently direct the respondents herein 1 to 4 herein to re fix the seniority panel on the basis of regularization dated 01.06.2006 and revert the respondents 12 to 16 as secondary grade teachers and promote the petitioners 1 to 4 herein as Primary School Head Masters with effect from the date of vacancy arose as notionally and with all other attended benefits including counting the Primary School Headmaster service for fixation of seniority and fixation of pay. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.T.Pon Ramkumar, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners, submitted that the Petitioners do not wish to press the Writ Petition and have circulated a letter in this regard. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition. 3.

Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents 1 to 4 stated that he had no objection. 6/8

In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Interim Order, if any, stands vacated and the file is consigned to record. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
