ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police in Crime No.7 of 2014, on the file of the respondent police for offences under Sections 420 IPC, the petitioners are now before this Court seeking Anticipatory Bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned counsel for the intervenor and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.
3. Initially, these petitions were referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and a failure report dated 23.02.2015 has been received from the Mediation Centre.

4. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioners herein had started an unregistered chit in the name of "Ilaignar Kuzhu Narpani
Mandram" ([nisqh; FG ew;gzp kd;wk;) and were doing unauthorised chit business. According to the de-facto complainant, a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- is due.
5. The respondent police has filed a counter affidavit, in which, they have stated that they have received about 20 complaints and a total amount that has been defrauded comes to around Rs.18 lakhs. In view of the serious nature of the allegations levelled against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail and hence, these petitions are dismissed.
