ORDER

CMP(MD)No.1418 of 2026 in CMA(MD)No.720 of 2024 order of this Court passed in CMP(MD)No.8132 of 2024 in CMA(MD)No.720 of 2024 dated 02.07.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up today, there is no representation for the respondents.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. It is seen from the records that this Court, while granting stay, directed the petitioner to deposit the admitted liability of Rs.7,74,281/- within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of that order.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not complied with the said direction and now they are ready to deposit the entire award amount with accrued interest and costs.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances and taking note of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to extend the time to comply with the order of this Court dated 02.07.2024. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. The petitioner is directed to deposit the entire award amount with accrued interest and costs to the credit of M.C.O.P.No.4539 of 2013 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Special Subordinate Court, Trichirappalli, on or before 19.06.2026.
