PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent police to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and his property on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 08.12.2014.

O R D E R

This direction petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and his property on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 08.12.2014.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection to his life and limb through representations dated 08.12.2014. Now, 3-1/2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
