Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.PANDI MAHARAJA, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KANDASAMY Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed praying to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.18634 of 2016, dated 04.10.2016, for surrender of the petitioner for the purpose of executing the bond, before the Magistrate concerned.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Perusal of the records would reveal that anticipatory bail was granted on 04.10.2016 and copy of the order was received on 14.10.2016. The petitioner failed to surrender before the Court concerned within the time stipulated by this Court. The petition has been filed on 16.12.2016. Hence, the petition is out of time.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is ordered and the time to surrender and to execute the bond before the Magistrate concerned is extended for a period of 15 days, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) to the Legal Services Authority, Ramanathapuram.
