Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent to grant absorption to the Petitioner as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at University College of Engineering, Nagercoil w.e.f.17.8.2011 viz., the date of completion of probation, with all monetary and other attendant and service benefits by implementing the G.O.(Ms)No.452 dated 20.10.2015 and G.O.(Ms) No.119 dated 12.5.2017 on the basis of the Petitioners representation dated 1.7.2017.

Cont.P(MD)No.271 of 2020 Committee would submit its report to the Government and thereafter, the case of the petitioner would be placed before the Committee 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the claim of the petitioner has been placed before the said Committee and it has rejected the claim of the petitioner. 3.Recording the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel this contempt petition is closed.
