(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to afford an opportunity of One Time Settlement of dues pending to the credit of the petitioner's loan accounts.

2.It is a settled position that the Banks cannot be compelled to accept the One Time Settlement given either by the borrower or guarantor. The Banks, who are dealing with the public money, should take a decision judiciously considering the each case on merits. W.P(MD)No.2875 of 2020 to the first respondent / Bank with regard to the One Time Settlement proposal given by the petitioner.

3.In these circumstances, the Writ Petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed. No costs.
