This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.265 of 2018 pending on the file of the respondent within a time.

2. According to the petitioner, he has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C. On 20.09.2018, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.265 of 2018. Even though, the case was registered in the month of September 2018, so far investigation has not yet been completed. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police on instructions submitted that the respondent police has commenced their investigation and they will complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of one month, before the concerned Jurisdictional Court. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
