(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The Heard the learned Government Advocate for the appellant. Though the writ petitioner / first respondent has been served and his name is printed in the cause list, she has not chosen to enter appearance.

2. It is seen that the writ petitioner was appointed in Thompson Primary School as secondary grade teacher on 11.04.2012. Her appointment was not approved since she did not possess TET qualification. Seeking direction to consider the proposal dated 10.07.2017 and for disbursal of other service and other monetary benefits, W.P.(MD)No.23701 of 2019 was filed. It was allowed on 2/4

11.11.2019. Questioning the same, this writ appeal has been filed.

3. The school in question is a minority institution. Therefore, the teacher appointed in such schools need not acquire TET qualification. The learned single Judge has rightly allowed the writ petition. Interference with the said order is not warranted. The writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
