For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.38/2019 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.38 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- from the de-facto complainant by giving false promise that he would arrange job and thereafter, he failed to secure the job and refused to return the said amount. Hence, the complaint.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

No.2821 of 2022 4.It is seen that the petitioner had received a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- from the de-facto complainant to arrange the job and thereafter, he failed to arrange any job and also refused to return the amount. Therefore, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much necessary in this case.

5.Taking note of the serious allegations made against the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
