This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide necessary and adequate police protection during the period of laying of the compound wall at Arulmighu Karpaga Vinayagar Temple situated at Bodinayakanoor, Kurangani Road on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 12.09.2015. 2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that they would give police protection onlly to the life and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ limb of the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), the respondent police is directed to give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner. 5.With the above said direction, the criminal original petition is ordered.
