ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to look into the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2026 so as to inclusion of the other accused and witness protection in connection with Crime No.11 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and perused the materials available on record.
3.Recording the submissions made on either side, this Court directs that, as far as the inclusion of other accused is concerned, the second respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2026 and if a criminal offence is made out, the accused may be included. Insofar as witness protection in connection with Crime No. 11 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police is concerned, the petitioner is directed to approach the District Level Committee headed by
the Principal District Judge. Upon such a petition being filed, the Committee shall take an appropriate action in accordance with law. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
