(MD) No. 17344 of 2021 dated 14.12.2021 by handing over the custody of the petitioner to the Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.PON KARTHIKEYAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.B.NAMBI SELVAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- The matter is listed today under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. The Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison-II, Puzhal, Chennai has submitted a letter dated 16.03.2022, stating that on 25.02.2022, the remand prisoner was sent to Institute of Mental Health, Kilpauk, through the same escort and he was taking continuous treatment at Institute of Mental Health, Kilpauk as an in-patient.

3. In view of the above, the order passed by this Court in Crl.M.P(MD) No.2193 of 2022, dated 11.02.2022 has been complied with. Hence, this petition is closed.
