3 G. KAVITHA ... RESPONDENTS Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to direct the 2nd respondent not to extend the lookout notice in RC.No.G1/331294/2014 dated 07/01/2016 and to cancel the lookout notice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.RAJAGOPAL, Advocate for M/S.T.K.GOPALAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.K.ANBARASAN, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondents 1 and 2 the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to extend the lookout notice in RC No.G1/331294/2014 dated 07.01.2016 and to cancel the lookout notice.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), produced a copy of the communication received from the second respondent, which is the opinion given to the second respondent by the legal officer. In the communication received from the Inspector of police, Pudukottai, Pudukottai District, it has been stated that the decision cannot be taken on the lookout notice as the criminal case is stayed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1480 of 2016. In the opinion of the legal officer, the respondents are advised that the lookout notice dated 16.11.2016 issued against the petitioner may be recalled in view of the recommendations of the legal officer.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) informed that the respondents will pass an appropriate order cancelling the lookout notice. Hence, the first respondent is likely to cancel the lookout notice within a short time.

4. Recording the steps taken in this petition, this criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
