PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and the property comprised in Survey No.415/2013 to an extent of 1.50 Acres situated at Iluppakudi Village, Kurichi Vayal, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and the property comprised in Survey No.415/2013 to an extent of 1.50 Acres situated at Iluppakudi Village, Kurichi Vayal, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District.

2. It is seen that there exists a dispute with regard to the property comprised in S.No.415/2013 against which the third respondent has given complaint before the second respondent and a case has been registered in Crime No.20 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 379,435,427 and 506(ii) of IPC. Even then the third respondent is disturbing with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property and also threatening with dire consequences.

3. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
