[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 not to issue any NOC and any permission to establish the retail petrol bulk outlet in S.Nos.188/13A, 13B, 13C of Valayapettai Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District to the private respondents 10 to 12.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that NOC has been granted by the District Collector for running of the petrol bulk outlet in S.Nos.188/13A, 13B, 13C of Valayapettai Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District and therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. He has produced a proceeding of the District Collector, Thanjavur in R.C.25114/2018/C4, dated 30.12.2022, to that effect.

3. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid proceedings of the District Collector dated 30.12.2022, if so advised.
