ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, seeking for a direction to the second and third respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for his property comprised in S.No.510/2, Patta No.1285 measuring an extent of 1.21.5 Hectares Punjai total extent of 3 acres, based on the petitioner's application dated 05.02.2022, within a timeframe to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner of the aforementioned property. He has submitted an application on 05.02.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Since the said application has not been considered by the respondents, he has filed this writ petition.
3.Heard Ms.K.M.Priscilla Jancy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for all the respondents. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD]No.3014 of 2022 petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for the aforementioned property is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other necessary parties, if any, within the timeframe to be fixed by this Court. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.02.2022 seeking for issuance of patta for the property bearing S.No.510/2, Patta No.1285 measuring an extent of 1.21.5 Hectares Punjai total extent of 3 acres, and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner as well as any other rival claimants, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
