ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.373 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pudhukottai Police Station to some other Inspector of Police, Tuticorin District.

2. A perusal of the records revealed that the second respondent filed the status report stating that there is a dispute between the petitioner and his wife and she would have taken the vehicle.

3. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there was a misunderstanding between the petitioner and his wife. Thereafter, they joined and are living happily. In fact, last month they gave birth to twins. There is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.2684 of 2020 absolutely no possibility for the wife to take the vehicle. Admittedly, in the year 2019, the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-69-A-9709 was missing. However, there is no clue for stolen of the vehicle.

4. Therefore, the transfer of investigation would not serve any purpose, since it is pending for investigation on the file of the second respondent for the past more than two years.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is diposed of, accordingly.
