ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2.This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondent to restore the water connection to the Petitioner's property bearing Tax Assessment No.138/029/902149 and other buildings annexed with the above said property by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2025.
3.Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Jeyamohan, vehemently submitted that the respondent corporation atrociously disconnected his water connection without putting him on notice. 5.In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the respondent Corporation to forthwith restore the water connection and thereafter proceed 2/4
under Section 160 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies, 1998, as against the petitioner in the manner known to law.
6.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 31.01.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes Sml Note: Issue order copy on 31.01.2025.
