Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 22.03.2022 and 01.12.2022 for the post of Technical Assistant and to provide the necessary compensation to the petitioner for depriving the employment from 2008, within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Technical Assistant in TANGEDCO, seeking a Mandamus to consider his representation dated 01.12.2022.

2. A perusal of the said representation reveals that the petitioner was earlier sponsored by the employment exchange for the above said post but he was not called for the interview and third parties were appointed. Without challenging the order of appointment in favour of the third parties, the petitioner has sent a representation to the effect that due to corruption, the petitioner was not given appointment order and some third parties have been appointed. The petitioner has prayed for Rs.1.5 Crores as compensation and to give pension.

3. The representation clearly shows that the petitioner has made some wild allegations and sought for a compensation and pension. This Court does not find any reason to interfere in the writ petition and issue a direction to the TANGEDCO to consider the said representation. In case, if the petitioner is 2/4

aggrieved over his non-selection, it is always open to him to seek appropriate remedy.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
