O R D E R

The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 01.06.2023 passed in W.P. (MD)No.11256 of 2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the petitioner is ready to pay the tax amount, the respondents have not received the demand draft.

3. The learned Standing Counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that pursuant to the earlier order dated 01.06.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.11526 of 2023, the petitioner was allowed to pay the admitted tax amount. Subsequently, the petitioner was served with a letter on 17.02.2025, requesting him to pay the admitted tax for the periods 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. However, the petitioner has neither

paid the admitted tax amount nor complied with the order and instead, he has filed the present contempt petition.

4. Considering the submissions made, it is clear that the petitioner has not approached this Court with clean hands. The petitioner's bona fides lack merit and accordingly, the contempt petition is dismissed.
