Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police to register a case against the accused in pursuance of the petitioner's oral complaint dated 31.10.2014 and recorded by the respondent Police on the same day and prosecute the offenders in accordance with law.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with the present Criminal Original petition to direct the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's oral complaint dated 31.10.2014, which has been recorded by the respondent Police on the same day. 2.It is represented by the (*)Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that petition enquiry was conducted based on the complaint of the petitioner and there was a compromise entered into between the parties and hence, the petitioner has withdrawn his complaint and hence, the respondent Police has not taken further action based on the complaint of the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the respondent Police has stopped the further action in view of the compromise entered into between the parties.

4.In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to follow the procedure laid down in Lalitha Kumari Vs. Govt.of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

U.P.and others (2013(4) Crimes 243(SC)) and in case of closing the complaint, a copy of the closure report shall be forwarded to the petitioner within a week from the date of closure. 5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
