Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2020 and provide adequate police protection for smooth functioning of the IMFS TASMAC Shop No.4857 situated at Door No.1-47A3, Thirunainarkurichi, Thingal Nagar Village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanyakumari District in the light of the communication dated 05.02.2020 of the District Manager, the third respondent to the second respondent herein.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed, directing the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2020 and provide police protection for smooth functioning of the IMFS TASMAC Shop No.4857 situated at Door No.1-47A3, Thirunainarkurichi, Thingal Nagar Village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanyakumari District. 1/3
2.It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State that the shop is not running for the last six months.
3.In such view of the matter, this Court is of the considered view that no such blanket directions can be granted, when the shop itself is closed for more than six months. It is for the petitioner to open the shop and give a proper representation to the concerned official, in the event of any opposition arise. On such representation being given, the concerned official shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. 4.With this observation, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
