PRAYER: Petitions is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the learned Fast Track Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to dispose of the above cases in S.T.C.Nos.1807 of 2012, 1868 of 2012, 1867 of 2012, 1866 of 2012, 1806 of 2012, 1775 of 2012, 1805 of 2012, 1774 of 2012, 1776 of 2012 respectively, within the time stipulated by this Court and pass such other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

For Petitioner : Mr.I.Subramanian Senior Counsel for Mr.Veera.Kathiravan For Respondents : Mr.Babu Rajendran C O M M O N ORDER The petitioner has come forward with the petitions under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.Nos.1807, 1868, 1867, 1866, 1806, 1775, 1805, 1774, 1776 of 2012 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the case is of the year 2012 and after filing of this case, more than 3 years period has lapsed and 58 hearings have been completed, but, there is no progress whatsoever in the said case except adjourning the matter for one reason or other.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays for early disposal of the cases. The respondents have no objection for early disposal.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the trial court is directed to take up the matters and decide the same as expeditiously as possible. The trial court shall conduct the case on day to day basis and the case shall not be adjourned beyond 4 working days at any point of time.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
