ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. Carefully perused the materials available on records.
2. The petitioner has submitted an application for the post of Pharmacist pursuant to notification dated 10.08.2022, issued by the respondent. She attended written examination on 27.04.2023. The selection list was published on 05.08.2024 and her name was not included in the selection list.
3. The case of the petitioner is that she belongs to a scheduled caste community and is a destitute widow. She has completed M.Pharm. It is the grievance of the petitioner that no priority is provided in the recruitment of Pharmacist to the destitute widow on par with physically disabled persons and Ex-Servicemen.

4. The petitioner came to know that there are 46 posts not yet filled. At this juncture, the petitioner submitted a representation on 27.12.2024 to the respondent to consider the petitioner under destitute women category based on the marks obtained by her to rebuild her life afresh.
5. The petitioner has been suffering monetarily and mentally as a destitute women. As there is no reply from the respondent to the said representation, the petitioner has constrained to file this writ petition.
6. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has placed a copy of the order dated 29.05.2024, wherein it is stated that the representation dated 09.12.2023 of the petitioner has been considered and rejected.

On perusal of the representation dated 27.12.2024 which was sent to the respondent by a registered post on 27.12.2024 as per the registered post receipt affixed on the representation which was filed at Page.No.17 of the present writ petition, this Court is of the opinion that the order passed by the respondent on 29.05.2024, which is much prior to the representation dated 27.12.2024 has no relevance in the present case. 3/6

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, in the considered opinion of this Court, it is appropriate and reasonable to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 27.12.2024 sent by the petitioner through the registered post and pass appropriate orders considering the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law.
9. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2024 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of six
