Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to issue patta in the petitioner favour in respect of the property comprised in T.S.No.31/5A of an extent of 369 sq.feet is concerned situated at Ward-Y, Block-3, Puthur Village, West Taluk, Trichy District, based on the petitioner representation dated 25.11.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to dispose of his representation dated 25.11.2024 for issuance of patta in respect of the property comprised in T.S.No.31/5A, measuring 369 sq.ft. 2.The petitioner had initially made a representation in the year 2022 to the first respondent and again followed it up with another representation on 02.09.2024 and finally, has given representation on 25.11.2024. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that the third respondent being the competent authority shall pass orders within a reasonable period of time subject to the time limit prescribed by this Court.

4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be a

direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2024 on his own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
