2. The petitioner is in custody since 10.01.2020 for the offences under Section 506(i) of I.P.C. r/w. Sections 9(1) and 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act in Crime No.4 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police. 3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner who is aged about 34 years had committed the offence in question with victim who is a 14 year old girl.

4. I carefully went through the averments set out in the FIR. Investigation is at a preliminary stage.
