ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family on the guise of enquiry in a money dispute by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 09.01.2025.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for official respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, directed the first respondent to register a case. In pursuance of the direction, the first respondent police registered a case in Crime No.27 of 2025 for the offences under Section 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 477 A and 294 B of IPC and the same is under investigation. The first respondent has not harassed the petitioner as stated by the petitioner in the petition.

3. Since the first respondent registered a case against the petitioner, it is for the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for appropriate remedy. 2/4
