ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to sanction the amount of Rs.2,38,304/- with admissible interest as per the proposals submitted by the petitioner dated 10.03.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is the beneficiary under the NHIS. For the surgery undergone by the petitioner and her husband, she claimed a total reimbursement of Rs.2,38,304/-. Therefore, she has sent the proposal, which has been forwarded by educational authorities, to the first respondent. However the same has not been considered so far and hence she is before this Court with this writ petition. 2/4

In view of the above, since the approval has been sent along with necessary documents by the educational authorities, the first respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders by sanctioning the claim made by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
