This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioners and their family under the guise of enquiry.

2. Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that a complaint given by one Sreenivasan is pending against the petitioners for cheating and for the purpose of enquiry, the petitioners were called for by serving summons through the fifth respondent police. But, they refused to receive the summons and immediately approached this Court by filing the present criminal original petition.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the enquiry is pending, the petitioners are directed to appear before the fourth respondent for enquiry and the fourth respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a reasonable time.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
