The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to survey, measure and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property bearing Plot No.50 measuring 4.53 cents comprised in S.No. 49/3C of Valayankulam Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District. 2.The petitioner has given a representation on 09.09.2024 and followed it up with further representations on 02.01.2025 and 21.01.2025. The petitioner seeks expeditious action on the part of the respondents 2 and 3 in disposing of the latest representation dated 02.01.2025.
3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side. 2/4
4.It is admitted that the representations sent by the petitioner are pending with the respondents 2 and 3.
5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the respondents 2 and 3 would undertake to exercise of survey, measure and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property.
6.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2025, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
