Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application No.2021/0153/22/000697 dated 07.10.2021 and transfer the patta to his name in respect of the property situated at Old Survey No.231/50, T.S. No.24/2, Kallusanthu Street, Aranthangi Municipality Ward No.6, Rethinakottai Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Aranthangi Sub-Reg, Kaaraikkudi District. Reg., Pudukottai District within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.10.2021 for transfer of patta in his name in respect of the property situate at Old Survey No.231/50, T.S. No.24/2, Kallusanthu Street, Aranthangi Municipality Ward No.6, Rethinakottai Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Aranthangi Sub-Reg, Kaaraikkudi, Pudukottai District within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he purchased the aforementioned property under a sale deed dated 06.10.2021 registered as Document No.3571 of 2021 and thereafter he applied for patta on 07.10.2021 with the respondent but till date patta has not been issued. 3.Heard Mr.N.P.Siva Chakravarthi, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.M.

Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.The relief sought for by the petitioner is an innocuous one. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's application dated 07.10.2021 seeking for transfer of patta in his name for the aforementioned property is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties including the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

W.P.[MD]No.2741 of 2022 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.10.2021 seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the aforementioned property and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties including the petitioner within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
