O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the wrong classification in the village record in respect of lands in Survey.No 41/2 measuring about 65 cents situated at Thattaanur village, Madurai south Joint No. 1, Madurai south taluk, Madurai district by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2025 within the time limit fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the official respondents seeking to remove the wrong classification made in the village records. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondent, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be considered by the respondents 2 and 3 within a period of twelve weeks. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2025 by conducting enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if there are any rival claims, the said issues shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil court.There shall be no order as to costs.
