PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to give police protection to petitioner and property by considering petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2022.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and his property by considering petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2022.

2.The petitioner lodged a complaint on 08.01.2022 before the second respondent alleging that the petitioner owned property comprised in Survey No.357/498 situated at Ward No.15, South Mariamman Temple Street, Thuraiyur Town, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District and when the petitioner started construction in the said land, the third respondent interfered with the construction made by the petitioner.

3. On receipt of the said complaint, the petitioner was issued a copy of CSR.No.19 of 2022 and the second respondent conducted a detailed enquiry. The petitioner and the counter party namely the third respondent appeared for enquiry and submitted that they will approach the concerned Civil Court for appropriate relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.2840 of 2022 4.That apart, on the perusal of the complaint, all the allegations averred by the petitioner are civil in nature and the petitioner is not entitled for police protection as claimed in this Writ Petition.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court in manner known to law.
