PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to to direct the respondents 1 & 2 not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of an enquiry. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the official respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of an enquiry.

2. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents, on instructions, would contend that the third respondent lodged a complaint against the present petitioner and the same was registered in C.No.1704/PG/Camp/DCP L&O/MC/2020 and is posted for enquiry.

3. Recording the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to follow the guidelines issued in the decision in the case of D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.
