ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to hand over the key of the petitioner's property situated in S.No.1953/1 and S.No.1958 at Valliyoor to the petitioner by considering his representations, dated 22.01.2025, 23.01.2025 and 24.01.2025.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the property belongs to the petitioner's mother, namely, Azhagu Sundari. The third parties entered into the premises without the knowledge of the petitioner and thereby, the petitioner locked the premises and thereafter, the third parties lodged a complaint before the third respondent and the third respondent forcibly locked the premises and took away 2/5

the key. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition to direct the third respondent to hand over the key.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that due to the dispute between the parites, in order to avoid the law and order problem, the third respondent locked the premises and had the key and now he is ready to hand over the key to the petitioner.

5. In view of the above said undertaking given by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, it is appropriate to dispose the writ petition by directing the third respondent to hand over the key, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
