Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.THANGAPANDIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.P.KANDASAMY, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed praying to extend the time imposed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.3434 of 2017, dated 23.03.2017 and permit the petitioner to surrender before the District and Sessions Court (PCR Court), Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The petitioner was ordered to surrender before the learned District and Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur, in respect of Crime No.54 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the learned Judge is directed to accept his surrender and consider his bail application on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
accordance with law on the same day, as per the order, dated 23.03.2017, but the petitioner failed to surrender within the stipulated time as ordered by this Court. The impugned petition is filed to extend the time to surrender.
4.Considering the reason assigned by the petitioner herein, two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to comply with the order dated 23.03.2017, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This petition is ordered accordingly.
