The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.53 of 2012 dated 17.08.2012 on the file of the first respondent. 2.It is seen that the First Information Report is of the year 2012. The petitioner is now aged 73 years. The respondents cannot keep the case at the FIR stage in definitely. Seven years is too long the time to conclude the investigation. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to conclude the investigation in Crime No.53 of 2012 and file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
