PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to to direct the First Additional District and Sessions Judge at Thanjavur, in connection with Crime No.94 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police and to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner on the same day. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the First Additional District and Sessions Judge at Thanjavur, to consider the surrender of the petitioner and his bail application on the same day.

2. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that one of the victims sustained head injuries and is also in critical stage in the hospital.
