ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioners' representation, dated 28.01.2025.

2. According to the petitioners, the third respondent lodged a complaint before the second respondent police and the dispute is purely civil in nature arising out of sale agreement. Therefore, the second respondent has no jurisdiction to entertain the present petition. 2/5

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, they made enquiry and the same is pending and they will complete the enquiry within the short period and they will dispose of the representation of the petitioners, dated 28.01.2025 as early as possible. During the enquiry, they have not harassed the petitioners.

4. Recording the above said submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the official respondents, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of by directing the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioners, dated 28.01.2025, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
