ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.167 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent to the Assistant Commissioner of Police or any other competent officer.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.167 of 2022 and that the investigation is pending.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, South Gate Sub Division, Madurai, is directed to monitor the same. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
