By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned promotion order passed by the fourth respondent in No.Memo No.436-1/Adm-II/A.1/F.L1/C1 to FM I Gr./2020 dated 18.03.2020 issued to the petitioner through the ninth respondent letter Endt No.1945 EE/OGM/Ui/Adm/A1/F.Li to Pm iar/20 Dt.Nil .03.2020 of Junior Engineer, Maintenance, 110 Kv NON-GRID SS., VALDI-621712. 3.Though the petitioner herein had challenged the impugned promotion panel, this Court is of the view that such an exercise 2/3
as to petitioner's entitlement to be included in the promotion requires to be exercised by the concerned authority. However, if the petitioner's representation in this regard is directed to be considered by the respondents within a stipulated time, the ends of justice could be secured.
4.In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2020, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
