ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to de-freeze the petitioner's savings bank Account No.10828787661 maintained with the second respondent bank. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner as a Power Agent of one Thirumalai Kumar has sold the property to one Sanmathi Karthikeyan, who is the son of the accused in Cr.No.3 of 2023. He would further submit that there are some transactions between the petitioner and the accused and that is why, the Bank Account of the petitioner came to be freezed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Bank Account, which was freezed by the officials, is the Pension Account of the petitioner.

4.Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation along with proof to show that he is receiving pension amount and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to take necessary steps to permit the petitioner to withdraw the pension amount, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
